After 106 days Liam is finally home! It is extremely bittersweet. I thought it would be nothing but joy to be home but it is hard to be here with out Brady and with the knowledge of the struggles Liam will face.

Liam had one more cranial ultrasound before we left and it showed that his cerebellum is small/underdeveloped. He will be getting an MRI in a month to see how he is functioning. I was shocked to hear this news as we had not been told anything from his previous ultrasound. The cerebellum controls balance and coordination and problems can range from mild to severe. Please pray with us that Liams brain development will proceed well and his eyes will grow wonderfully. He's already been through so much...

Hi Jennifer:
So glad to hear you guys are home. We are continuing to pray for you, Liam and the whole family. I know it's hard to think about what the future holds... God has a wonderful plan for Liam -- maybe not an easy or typical plan but an awesome plan that will be for Liam's good and God's glory. We love you guys and will continue to ask God to wrap you up in His indescribable love.

Dear Lord,
We praise you for making Liam stong enough to come home! We raise up this small child in prayer. Please continue to heal your child. Be in the development of his brain and his eyes and his tiny body. Please strengthen his family. Allow them to enjoy this time, although it reminds them that you are already holding Brady in your arms. Please bless the McIntosh family, let them know that they are loved beyond what they can imagine! Hold them in your perfect arms, let them breathe in your presence. We love you Lord. Amen

Congratulations. What a big step for such a small boy! He has grown and flourished because of all your dedication and hard work. Take time to congratulate yourself and the Lord of course. It's OK to take some time to grieve and move on. I'm so thrilled to hear of your exciting news.
