Well-
Liam has to have laser surgery on his eyes this Wed. Because of his prematurity- his blood vessels are not growing like they should and in order to keep vision in his eyes they need to do surgery right away. I'm frustrated.... Liam was going off the cannula tomorrow and now he will have to be reintubated on Wed for the surgery. He will be sedated and paralyzed and it will take 45 minutes to one hour for each eye to be done.

Please pray that there will be no complications, that the surgery would be a success and Liam would be able to get extubated quickly!

Liam nursed for the first time today- and was graduating to a big bed but I feel like we are stepping backwards again....

Please pray-

Don't give up hope Jen. This is just another opportunity for our Master to again prove his ability to those who don't believe and trust Him. I can't imagine how difficult it is for you and your family and i know it's easier said than done, but you know we have to keep the faith in all we go thru. Still praying for you all. God is control! I am sending all my love to you and your little one, as I have since you first arrived in the hospital. Liam seems to be so strong, and your faith will see you through. Please keep your chin up, Jen! I can only imagine how difficult this whole ordeal has been for you. Hugs.

Hi there! I found your posting on the twin board. I am the mother of a now 4 year old 26 weeker. He is very healthy and we are blessed. Your faith is getting you through this. As you know, 2 steps forward, 2 steps back. You are a wonderful mother and it makes 110% difference to Liam's outcome that you are there everyday. He knows! Keep your spirit up...he will do well tomorrow and he will continue to get stronger. Hugs! Jamie
