The Peak

I headed up to the top of the winding road we live on to check out the views and see the highest peak here in Ashe county.

It's named Peak Road, of course.

Again, the views were beautiful.

My favorite moment was when I wound down the other side of the peak and unexpectedly entered into a grove of trees; the sun peaking through the bare boughs.
