Thank you so much for your prayers and support! I have said this before but I can't really explain how grateful I am...

Liam's PDA is still open. He got his second dose of Endocin this evening. He has an extremely swollen belly because his body isn't absorbing fluids like it should. He pees great- lol- but some of the fluids are sitting in the capillaries in his abdomen giving him a big round belly. They gave him some albumin and lasix to help with that.
The infection is staph. It is not the scary one but it is still an infection that his body now has to fight off. My Dr. is "not happy" which is her term for things aren't going well....

PRAYER:
Liam's scan of his brain is scheduled for early this morning (like around 4 am). Please pray that it would be perfectly normal!! I really want it to be normal for so many reasons but also because my Jewish Dr. said she believes in miracles too...

Please pray that his PDA would shut down tight and never reopen!!

Please pray that the infection would disappear from Liams body!!

Please pray that his swollen belly would heal and return to normal!

The Lord is able to give exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask...

I have been following your story since you made the posting on the twin web site. I know you have been through so much already and I hope that the Lord is bringing you peace and faith to make it through everyday. While I pray for Liam to continue on being a strong boy, I pray as much for his mommy to be strong and make through each day-he needs his mommy right now.
I know now isn't the time to hear this but remember that God will never give us more then we can handle. He knew that Liam needed a mom who would be there for him no matter what and he chose you because of your strength and love. I hope you know all the love and prayers that are out there for you and for every member of your family

Praying for you and Liam. I believe that God does answer prayers and those scans will be normal.
Love you

I hope his brain scan is good. If he needs his PDA closed surgically I hope that goes perfectly as well. He will get through this. I know it doesnt mean much, but I think your prayers (and the many many other people praying for him) are going to get him through this.

Hey sweetie -
Praying for God to work a miracle. I have forwarded your request on to everyone in my address book and added to the church prayer list, as well.

Romans 8:28 ~ "And we know that in all things GOD works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

Father God, thank you for Liam. Thank you for the faith of his parents, family, friends, and those Your Spirit has touched to pray for him. We lift up Liam's body to You, O Lord. Heal him, Lord God, for nothing is impossible for You. You tell us in Word (II Cor) that Your power is made perfect in weakness. We praise You, Father, for Your perfect strength and power. Be glorified through Liam. Breath life in to body. Amen!
